Just got my first piece of ‘corporate’ video work this week. It involves filming a training video for a Newry company. Rather than keep showing people how to use the piece of equipment over and over again, they decided to create a series of videos that users can log on and view. Being a multinational company the voiceovers will be translated into Chinese and other languages.

Here’s the downside – I had to be honest and say that I have not done any corporate work so had nothing to show them. However, they’ve taken me on for a one-off, make-or-break video – if I impress them, there could be plenty of other work. If I don’t – YOU’RE FIRED!!!! Yes, it sounds very much like being on The Apprentice or getting roasted in The Dragon’s Den.

Well, here goes! Into the arena…….
